October tales

Been a bit slack this month in terms of blogging - oh ok, a bit slack all round! Still, a few opportunities to take photos. At home, spring is in full swing, with ever changing weather, T-shirts to woolly jumpers, sunglasses to umbrellas. Loved this cloud formation, looked kinda cold up there. We've got a couple of hares here, mum with her little one. When she sees something, she hides the baby in the grass and runs away. Baby snuggles down, ears flat, until she returns. But baby is getting bolder, crossed the paddock yesterday all by itself. Thankfully, Sherman hasn't seen it.
Saturday we headed to Geelong, the Guild meeting was on. Lovely catching up with Tracee, Sue and Jenny too, who was visiting from NZ. Some fabulous quilts on show, and the speaker was Ro Bruhn, a very talented allround crafter. She told us all about her work in art textiles, jewellery, collages, bags, and other goodies. Good fun, and I hope we can entice her to do a workshop. Blogger is not playing nice today, so I'll finish here and start again another time.

    1. No old bats here! Just having an intense conversation. I found Ro very inspiring.
